FUTURE WORKFORCE

Organizations show foresight by being pro active, achieving optimum level of productivity, maintaining market leadership or competing to be one would lead them to having to subscribe to any system or process that gives a competitive advantage. That being said, organizations now recognize a future where digital workforce would be their best bet.

There is a community that represents this future, it is popularly referred to as the gig economy, It charts the course to a new avenue of talents on the basis of increasing digitization and resulting to new jobs and a corresponding demand of new skills. This as a result tasks organizations with the need to design a sustainable talent pipeline that would help engage and manage the talent they need.

Envisioning a future such as this would mean to see a future where thousands of jobs will be lost to digitization while new jobs will be birth through the same, leaving the now workforce to upskilling and continuous education.

So i see a world where offices would leave traditional business locations to co-work spaces, restaurants,bedrooms, living rooms, even so toilet seats.

There is no doubt that this would be the same for most or some businesses, this reality only exist for businesses that leverage on technology for their activities.

So coming in would be a world where remote work would be the order of the day, this would present itself as an opportunity to the ready and a dooms day to the ill prepared.

Embrace change,

Plan for it,

and position yourself for the good of it.
